American cookies
Classic recipe for chocolate chip cookies

I remember the first time I made these cookies and ate them all in half an hour.
I ate them with coffee, cocoa, milk, and no drinks.
Sometime right after that cookie, I wanted to never go to work again, just quit my job and become a pastry chef.
How wonderful that after a while it happened and I never forgot this recipe!
Ingredients:

70 g of 82.5% butter

1 egg

50g brown sugar (I love muscovado sugar)

50 g white or brown refined sugar

130 g wheat flour or gluten free flour mixture

50 g of 72% dark chocolate

1/2 tsp baking soda

A pinch of salt

Cooking!

Melt the butter completely on the stove until transparent, cool a little, add all the sugar and mix.
Then we add the egg, then the flour and baking soda.

Chop a bar of chocolate finely, add it to the batter and place it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
Heat the oven to 180 degrees ° C.

Form balls of dough and distribute them on a baking tray, leaving 5 cm between the balls.
Bake for 15 minutes and cool completely.
If the cookies are still soft and seem underbaked, take them out of the oven anyway, that's how they should be.

When it cools, it will firm up:)
